Women can't be scientists. This phrase is all that Margaret and Sidney heard growing up as they told their respective families about their ambitions to become research oriented scientists. Wouldn't their parents be proud if they saw how far they had come, nearly discovering the cure for the common cold. Margaret, putting water in one test-tube and vinegar in the other, turned to Sidney. "I think I've done it!" she shouted at her research partner. "The cure for the common cold is just what we had predicted, 50% water and 50% vinegar." The ladies went on to makes millions upon millions for their discovery, however, Sidney died later that year in a freak boating accident.
